Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 26 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of fieldciso.com (the “Site”), operated by FieldCISO. By using the Site, or by ticking the box to unlock gated content, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Site you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and, where you are acting on behalf of an organisation, that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, to interfere with its operation, to scrape or bulk-download its content, or to use it in any way that could damage or impair it for others.
3. Gated Content, Registration and Activity
Some content on the Site, including vendor demo videos and research reports, is made available in exchange for your name and business email address. When you provide those details and tick the consent box, you agree to the following:
FieldCISO may contact you about the content you unlock and record your activity on this site - including activity recorded before you gave your details - to tailor that follow-up.
The activity we record includes the pages you view, the demos you open, how much of each demo video you watch, and which vendors you look at. We assign your browser an identifier when you first arrive, and when you later provide your details, the activity already recorded against that identifier is associated with you. This is what the phrase “including activity recorded before you gave your details” above refers to, and ticking the consent box is what permits it.
We keep this information for a limited period and then delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time in one click, using the link in the footer of any email we send you, which stops the recording and deletes the history we hold. The same footer carries a link to download everything we hold about you. The full detail of what we collect, how long we keep it, and your rights is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
4. Communications
If you register for an episode, unlock gated content, or subscribe to our newsletter, you agree to receive email from us relating to that request. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is honoured immediately.
5. Vendor Content and Third-Party Links
The Site features product demonstrations, descriptions, and materials relating to third-party security vendors. That material describes those vendors’ products and does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or recommendation by FieldCISO. We do not warrant the accuracy of vendor claims. The Site also links to third-party websites, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
6. Not Professional Advice
Content on the Site, including research, interviews, reports, and commentary, is published for general information. It is not security, legal, financial, or professional advice, and it does not create an advisory relationship between you and FieldCISO. Do not act on it without taking advice appropriate to your own circumstances. Advisory engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, other than third-party material identified as such, belongs to FieldCISO or its licensors. You may read, quote with attribution, and share links to it. You may not republish it substantially, sell it, or present it as your own without our written permission.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FieldCISO is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Where a change materially affects the consent you have given us, we will ask for it again rather than relying on the earlier tick.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to devesh@fieldciso.com or pinki@fieldciso.com.
