OpenDemo is how an open-source security project gets into the FieldCISO Demo Room. You bring the project and twenty-five minutes. We record you showing it working, publish it as recorded, write it up, and put it in front of the people who decide what their teams run. Open to maintainers and to companies with open source initiatives, and taking part costs nothing.

Half the security stack is open source. Almost none of it gets a demo.
Commercial tools arrive with a sales engineer and a recorded walkthrough. Open-source projects, often solving the same problem just as well, arrive with a README. That is a presentation gap, not a quality gap, and it is why teams buy a product for a job a project already does.
Your README cannot show the tool working
People have to picture it running in their own environment before they will spend a weekend on it. Twenty-five minutes of you driving it does that; documentation does not.
Reach the people who decide
Open source spreads bottom-up through engineers, and the blocker is usually a level above them. This audience is security leadership.
Judged on the same terms as commercial tools
Your project sits in the same room, in the same format, as the vendor demos. A buyer who watches both knows the open-source option exists.
Contributors find projects they have seen work
Being found by the next contributor is the hard part of maintaining, and understanding a tool starts with watching someone use it properly.

What a participating project gets, for free
No fee to take part, no fee to be published, nothing to buy afterwards. If that seems odd for a Demo Room that also carries vendor demos: the vendors are why we can run this part at no cost.
